Hydrogen-Bonding Schemes of Galactonic Acid Hydrazide and its Hemihydrate

Synopsis: The hydrogen-bonding scheme of galactonic acid hydrazide is mainly characterized by an antidromic hydrogen-bonding cycle, whereas the hemihydrate exhibits an intricate pattern. Both structures crystallize in a herringbone arrangement.
