On the left of the figure, where twofold related dimers are at the same level, one direct hydrogen bond is observed between primary hydroxyls (O65A—H⋯O63B). On the right of the figure, where a shift of one CD molecule occurs between twofold-related dimers, all the hydrogen bonds are mediated by water molecules.
