Two different disordered cluster structures in hP386-Al57.4Cu3.6Ta39.0. The original unit cell (left), as well as the one with an exchanged slab (right), both exhibiting ABAC stacking in the c direction. The volume affected by disorder is indicated by the dashed-line box. The A layers are comprised of F3260 clusters in both cases (blue), while the B and C layers in the original case are F3974 clusters, but in the disordered variant they are found to be F4076 clusters (all red), because the adjacent layer of F3260 clusters in the center of the unit cell is exchanged.
