Synopsis: The structure of the new quaternary thiophosphate RbNb₂(S₂)₃(PS₄) is made up of one-dimensional ${^{\kern 4pt 1}_{\infty}}$ [Nb₂(S₂)₃(PS₄)^-] chains and these are stabilized by Rb⁺ ions.

Synopsis: The crystal structures of monoclinic [alpha] -, orthorhombic [beta] - and orthorhombic [gamma] -Cu(H₂PO₂)₂ have been determined at different temperatures. Despite having different space groups, the structures of the [alpha] - and [beta] -polymorphs are very similar. The structures of the polymeric layers in the [gamma] -polymorph are quite different.
