Synopsis: The structure of the synthetic trioctahedral mica potassium triiron(II) aluminasilaferrate(III) decaoxide dihydroxide, KFe^II₃(Al_0.26Fe^III_0.76Si₃)O₁₀(OH)₂, has been determined using single-crystal X-ray diffraction data measured at 270 and 100 K.

The trihydrate contains chains of the tin species linked by a single hydrogen-bonded water molecule, whilst the tetrahydrate has a three-dimensional network. In addition, there are O-HCl interactions present.
