Abstract: The title compounds, Ph₂PCH₂N(H)Ph or C₂₅H₂₂NP and Ph₂PCH₂N(CH₃)Ph or C₂₆H₂₄NP, respectively, are isomorphous, with calculated theoretical Tolman angles of 174 and 182°.
