Abstract: The molecules of 2-benzyl-3-(2-bromophenyl)propiononitrile, C16H14BrN, are linked into chains by a single C-H
N hydrogen bond. The molecules of methyl 2-benzyl-2-cyano-3-phenylpropionate, C18H17NO2, are linked into sheets by a combination of C-H
O and C-H
(arene) hydrogen bonds.
Formula: C16H14BrN and C18H17NO2
