The [alpha]- and [beta]-epoxides of 3[beta]-acetoxy-5[alpha]-lanost-9(11)-en-7-one

M. Parvez, O. E. Edwards and Z. Paryzek

Abstract: The structures of 3[beta]-acetoxy-9[alpha],11[alpha]-epoxy-5[alpha]-lanost-9(11)-en-7-one and 3[beta]-acetoxy-9[beta],11[beta]-epoxy-5[alpha]-lanost-9(11)-en-7-one, C32H52O4, differ in their respective substituted cyclohexanone rings but adopt similar conformations in the other three rings. In both of the crystal structures, weak intermolecular C-H...O interactions are present.

Formula: C32H52O4
