New compounds β-ScTe (P63/mmc) and Y3Au2 are determined as a superstructure of ScTe (NiAs-type) and as a U3Si2-type structure, respectively. Y2Au (Pnma) is reassessed as an inverse-PbCl2-type structure rather than a Co2Si-type.
