The plots for sarcosine (squares) and betaine (triangles) are offset horizontally by 0.1 and 0.2 M, respectively. The room-temperature (294 K) mosaicities in the absence of cryoprotective agent are 0.6–0.7°. The error is the average of 2–6 measurements and the error bar is the standard error of the mean.
