Sample presentation to the X-ray beam. (a) A brass pin and a washer are glued onto a piece of glass. (b) The concave surface of the first Si3N4 wafer is glued onto the washer. (c) 500 nl of crystalline slurry is gently deposited onto the membrane. (d) The second Si3N4 wafer is sandwiched over the first.
