Data collection with higher rotation speeds. (a, b) A comparison of data sets collected from a lysozyme crystal at speeds between 1 and 720° s−1 is shown (lys_3 to lys_10). The detector was operated at a 800 Hz frame rate for all data sets and the beam transmission was adjusted to maintain the same overall dose per data set. (c, d) The same data sets used in Fig. 9[link] were reanalyzed by summing frames in each data set so that all data sets have an rotation angle of 0.9°. This allows the speed comparison to be made excluding the effects of the different rotation angles.
