2-[(5-Méthylisoxazol-3-yl)méthyl]benzimidazole

Abstract: The structure of the title compound, 2-[(5-methylisoxazol-3-yl)methyl]benzimidazole, C₁₂H₁₁N₃O, has been established; the benzimidazole and isoxazole groups are planar and make a dihedral angle of 76,15 (4)°. The crystal packing is strengthened by a hydrogen bond in the b-axis direction.
