- Stacks and C-HO bonded sheets in 4-[(2-nitrophenyl)hydrazono]-4H-naphthalen-1-one

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₆H₁₁N₃O₃, (I), exists in crystals as the pure hydrazone tautomer. Molecules form stacks stretched along [100]. AM1 calculations of the crystal electrostatic potential show that the crystal environment causes only a 24% increase in the molecular dipole moment of (I).
