Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₁H₁₆N₂O, the molecule is nearly planar, with a dihedral angle of 11.2 (1)° between the benzaldehyde and fluorene moieties. The attached methoxy group makes an angle of 3.6 (4)° with the benzaldehyde moiety.
