Abstract: In the paper by Bryan, Sachleben & Urvoas [Acta Cryst. (2001), E57, o781-o782], the chemical name in the title is incorrect. The correct title is 5,17-di-tert-butyl-25,27-dimethoxycalix[4]arene.
