Abstract: In the title compound, [CoCl₂(C₄H₈N₂S)₂], the coordination around the Co atom is slightly distorted tetrahedral, with an average angle of 109.46 (4)°. Intermolecular interactions between the N and Cl atoms result in interconnected two-dimensional molecular network ribbons throughout the structure.
