-N,N'-Bis(salicylidene)-2,2'-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine](piperidine)copper(II)}dibromozinc(II)Abstract: In the crystal structure of the dinuclear title compound, [CuZnBr2(C19H22N2O2)(C5H11N)], the CuII ion has a distorted square-pyramidal coordination involving two iminic N and two phenolic O atoms of the N,N'-bis(salicylidene)-2,2'-dimethyl-1,3-propanediaminate (SALPD2- or C17H16N2O22-) ligand and one N atom of the piperidine group. The coordination around the ZnII ion is distorted tetrahedral, with two O atoms of the SALPD2- ligand and two bromide ions. The Zn-Br bond lengths are 2.3309 (9) and 2.3508 (10) Å. The Cu
Zn distance is 3.0800 (9) Å.
