Abstract: The crystal structure of styrene, C8H8, has been determined at 120 (2) K following in situ crystal growth from the liquid. Molecules crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Pbcn and contains intermolecular C-H
interactions, with both the phenyl ring and the alkene unit acting as acceptors.
