Acta Cryst. (2001). E57, m589-m590 [ doi:10.1107/S1600536801019663 ]
Abstract: The crystal structure of yellow [Ni(L)(N3)2]·H2O, where L is N,N'-bis[2-(2-pyridyl)ethylene]-1,3-diaminopropane (C15H16N4), containing six-coordinate nickel(II) with an octahedral [NiIIN6] core, is reported. Four N atoms of the Schiff base ligand form the equatorial plane and two N atoms of two azide ligands occupy the axial positions.
