N. Okabe, N. Isomoto and M. Odoko

Abstract: The title compound, diaquadi-[mu]2-oxo-dioxobis(pyridine-2-carboxylato-O,N)molybdenum(V) monohydrate, [Mo2O2(C6H4NO2)2(H2O)2]·H2O, is a dinuclear complex which consists of two MoV atoms connected together by a metal-metal single bond and two bridging oxo groups. Each MoV atom has a distorted octahedral geometry and is coordinated by three oxo groups, one O atom of the water molecule, and the O and N atoms of one picolinate anion.
