5-triazatriphosphorine (spiro-ansa) acetonitrileAbstract: The title compound, C26H16Cl2N7O12P3.C2H3N, consists of a non-planar trimeric phosphazene ring and two bulky 2,2'-methylenebis(4-nitrophenoxy) side groups, two cis-Cl atoms, and an acetonitrile molecule as solvent. With respect to the corresponding values in the reference compound N3P3Cl6, the endocyclic angles around the P atoms are slightly changed, while two of the exocyclic angles are increased and the remaining one is decreased. This situation is different from that in other reported phosphazene derivatives.
