Abstract: Adjacent molecules of the title compound [alternative name: phosphoric bis(4-methylbenzamide) dimethylamide], C₁₆H₂₂N₃OP, with tetrahedral phosphorus, are linked by twin N-HO [NO = 2.958  (3)  Å] hydrogen bonds into a linear chain.
