Abstract: In the title compound, C20H22N4·3H2O, the asymmetric unit contains one half of the organic molecule, the other half being related by twofold rotational symmetry. The O atom of one of the solvent water molecules lies on a twofold axis. In the crystal, the molecular organization is stabilized by well-defined weak intermolecular interactions that lead to the formation of a three-dimensional network.
