4-Phenyl-1-(2,4,5-tricyanophenyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene

Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₅H₁₇N₃, the tetrahydrobenzene ring of the tetrahydronaphthalene moiety adopts a half-chair conformation. Both the phenyl and tricyanophenyl rings are oriented almost perpendicular to the tetrahydrobenzene ring. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular C-H interactions.
