Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, C20H20N2, is not planar. The dihedral angle between the planes of the quinoline and phenyl rings is 64.6 (1)°, and these two planes make angles of 17.7 (2) and 47.7 (3)°, respectively, with the plane of the central iminomethyl moiety.
