Abstract: The title compound, C₂₀H₃₆O₃, forms clusters of molecules connected by a co-operative hydrogen-bond chain of five members. The direction of the chain is disordered due to the presence of a crystallographic twofold rotation axis. The clusters are linked via hydrogen bonds in an infinite two-dimensional network.
