1,1-Dibenzyl-6-methoxy-3,4-dihydro-1H-naphthalen-2-one

Abstract: The structure of the title compound, C₂₅H₂₄O₂, has been determined as part of an ongoing investigation into the biological activity of compounds based on the -tetralone core. The conformational structure of (I) is stabilized by C-H interactions between the aliphatic ring H atoms and the -electron systems of the benzyl subunits.
