Ethyl 4-methyl-9H-carbazole-3-carboxylate

Abstract: The title compound, C16H15NO2, consists of a carbazole skeleton with carboxyethyl and methyl groups at positions 3 and 4, respectively. Molecules are linked about inversion centres by N-H...O hydrogen bonds [N...O 2.897  (3)  Å] to form centrosymmetric dimers.
