Sodium zinc tris(dihydrogenphosphite) hydrate, NaZn(H₂PO₃)₃·H₂O

Abstract: NaZn(H₂PO₃)₃·H₂O contains zigzag chains of edge-sharing alternating NaO₆ [d_av(Na-O) = 2.452  (2)  Å] and ZnO₆ [d_av(Zn-O) = 2.104  (2)  Å] octahedra, crosslinked by H₂PO₃ pseudo-pyramids [d_av(P-O_Zn) = 1.501  (2)  Å and d_av(P-OH) = 1.572  (2)  Å]. It is isostructural with NaM(H₂PO₃)₃·H₂O (M = Mn, Co).
