3-Pyridylmethylphosphonic acid monohydrate

L. Checinska, M. Malecka, K. Aranowska and J. Ochocki

Abstract: The title molecule, C6H8NO3P·H2O, has a zwitterionic structure. The crystal-packing properties are influenced by the presence of water molecules in the crystal lattice and are stabilized by stacking interactions between pyridyl rings. Hydrogen bonds link the molecules in a three-dimensional network.
