Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, [Fe(C₁₀H₁₅)(C₁₁H₁₁)], contains parallel and eclipsed five-membered rings coordinated to the central Fe atom at perpendicular distances of 1.642 (1) (cyclopentadienyl ring) and 1.667 (1) Å (indenyl ring).
