A novel bridged hexahydropyrrolo[2,3-d]carbazole

Abstract: The title compound, C₂₂H₂₆N₂O₂S₂, consists of a pentacyclic system containing a carbazolenine skeleton with an ethyl group, a methoxyethyl group and a dithiolane ring as substituents. A few interatomic close contacts seem to influence the geometry of the carbazolenine core structure.
