Abstract: 1,4-Diphenyl-3,3:6,6-bis(tetramethylene)-2,5,7-trioxa-3,6-diazonia-1,4-diboratabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-phenol (1/1), C20H26B2N2O3·C6H5OH, contains a six-membered boat-shaped BONBON ring, with an O bridge forming a bicyclic system. The phenol molecule shows some disorder, and is linked to the heterocycle by an O-H
O hydrogen bond. The molecular dimensions of the heterocycle differ slightly from those of the parent (phenol-free) crystal, presumably as a result of the hydrogen bonding.
