Abstract: The trinuclear title compound, (₂-dppf){Cd(S₂CNEt₂)₂}₂ or [Cd₂Fe(C₃H₁₀NS₂)₄(C₂₁H₁₄P)₂], is disposed about a crystallographic centre of inversion and features five-coordinate Cd atoms that exist in distorted square-pyramidal geometries defined by a PS₄ donor set.
