Abstract: Vanadium nickel antimonide, VNi0.26 (2)Sb, adopts a partly filled NiAs-type structure. It has an ordered atomic arrangement, with V atoms coordinated octahedrally [V-Sb 2.8073 (3) Å] and Ni atoms coordinated trigonal bipyramidally [Ni-Sb 2.4553 (3)-2.7221 (3) Å] by Sb atoms.
