A diphenylboron chelate of an ethylenebishydroxylamine formaldehyde adduct

Abstract: 1,2-Bis[2,2-diphenyl-4-(2-propyl)-1,3-dioxa-4-azonia-2-boratacyclo-4-pentyl]ethane, C34H42B2N2O4, crystallizes with the molecules lying on crystallographic inversion centres. The five-membered COBON ring has a half-chair conformation, with about 25% double-bond character for the C-O bond.
