Abstract: In the title compound, [Ni(C₂₆H₂₂P₂)₂](ClO₄)₂, the Ni atom lies on an inversion centre and is square-planar coordinated by four P atoms from two bidentate ligands. The average Ni-P bond length is 2.2374  (7)  Å.
