Abstract: A twofold rotation axis passes through the bridging O atom between the two sugar rings in the title compound, C₆₂H₆₂O₁₇. Otherwise the geometry is much as would be expected for this type of molecule. Neither solvent nor hydrogen bonds are present in the crystal structure.
