2,2'-Thiobis[2-benzoyl-3-(4-chlorophenyl)oxirane]

Abstract: The X-ray crystallographic study of the title molecule, C₃₀H₂₀Cl₂O₄S, demonstrates the relative configuration between the aryl and aroyl groups (trans) on the one hand, and that between the two oxirane rings (trans) on the other. In the crystal, the molecular packing is stabilized by C-HO hydrogen bonds and ClCl short contacts.
