-tetraphenylporphyrinato)cobalt(III) dichloromethane solvateAbstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Co(NO2)(C44H28N4)(H2O)]·CH2Cl2, the CoIII atom has a distorted octahedral coordination, with the water molecule trans to the nitro ligand. The Co-N(nitro) and Co-O(aqua) bond distances are 1.863 (8) and 2.114 (8) Å, respectively. There is no intermolecular hydrogen bond involving the aqua ligand.
