(Ethanol-O)nitro(,,,-tetraphenylporphyrinato)cobalt(III)

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Co(NO₂)(C₄₄H₂₈N₄)(C₂H₆O)], a distorted octahedral Co^III complex shows orientational disorder such that the positions of the nitro and ethanol ligands are exchanged. As a result, the averaged structure has an inversion center at the Co atom.
