N-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)maleimide

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₀H₇NO₃, the malamute ring is rotated by 52.75  (5)° with respect to the phenyl ring. There is a weak O-HO intermolecular hydrogen bond between the hydroxyl group and one of the malamute O atoms, with an OO distance of 2.820  (2)  Å.
