Abstract: In the title compound, [PdCl₂(C₆H₄N₂)₂], the Pd^II cations occupy crystallographic inversion centres and adopt a slightly distorted square-planar coordination geometry. Adjacent molecules are linked into one-dimensional chains via long-range pairwise PdCl interactions.
