Abstract: The crystal structure of 1,4,7,11,14,17-hexaazacycloicosane-9,19-diol hexahydrobromide, C14H34N6O2·6HBr, shows the macrocycle to be centrosymmetric. A three-dimensional network, leading to the formation of channels, is formed owing to the presence of both intermolecular and intramolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions between the constituents of the structure.
