Dysprosium thiosilicate, Dy₄(SiS₄)₃

Abstract: Dy₄(SiS₄)₃ is isotypic with Tb₄(SiS₄)₃ [Hatscher & Urland (2002). Z. Anorg. Allg. Chem. 628, 1673-1677]. It contains almost undistorted, isolated (SiS₄)^4- tetrahedra and four crystallographically different Dy positions with coordination numbers seven and eight.
