(1R,2R)-(-)-1,2-Dibenzamidino-cyclohexane

Abstract: The title compound, (1R,2R)-(-)-1,2-[N(H)=C(Ph)N(H)]₂-C₆H₁₀, C₂₀H₂₄N₄, was prepared and its structure determined. The molecule has two N-C-N fragments which are twisted out of the phenyl planes. The single and double C-N bonds are essentially localized.
