Abstract: The X-ray crystallographic study of the title compound, C₃₀H₂₂O₆S, demonstrates the relative configuration between the aryl and aroyl groups (cis) on one hand, and that between the two oxirane rings (cis) on the other. The crystal packing is characterized by a C-HO interaction and CO short contacts.
