(+)-(R,E)-2-Ethylidene-4-ferrocenylcyclopentanone

Abstract: The absolute configuration of the title compound, C₁₇H₁₈FeO or [Fe(C₅H₅)(C₁₂H₁₃O)], has been unambiguously determined from a data set with many Friedel pairs. Two molecules were found in the asymmetric unit, both with the same configuration.
