cis-3-(p-Bromostyryl)-2-methyl-N-(phenylsulfonyl)indole

Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₃H₁₈BrNO₂S, the bromophenyl group is oriented cis with respect to the indole moiety. The phenylsulfonyl group is nearly perpendicular to the indole ring system, forming a dihedral angle of 84.6  (1)°.
